Teaching Experience

Bette holds a BS in Music Education and is a member of the following professional music teachers associations:  NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing), NYSTA (New York Singing Teachers Association), RCMTG (Rockland County Music Teachers Guild).

Over the years I have taught in the following venues in Rockland County:

Private Vocal Studio in Nanuet since 1990
Antrim Theatre Camp – Founded, directed for twenty three summers
Coupe Theatre School – Voice Teacher for ten years
Rockland Center for the Arts – Acting for Children & Comedy/Improvisation for Adults
George Miller Elementary School, Created an inter-grade writing/theater program.
SUNY Rockland – Taught Acting for the Camera, Stand Up Comedy
Clarkstown Summer Theatre Program – Voice coach for five summers
Various Elementary Schools in Rockland County – After School Theater Programs

Bette is truly a gifted voice teacher.  Training with her allowed me to make a smooth transition into both the collegiate and professional performing worlds. Working with her invaluably helped me to grow as a singer and person!  I just love her!!
